I haven’t been able to so much as doodle a llama in the month since I’ve handed this project in, hence my complete withdrawal from posting anything!
(Apologies to the people I’ve promised work for too, I’ve been pretty useless lately)
This project absolutely annihilated me and in my eyes (and all the animators in the house will agree I’m sure) is still only halfway to completion. Because I was rushing to meet a due date, an enormous amount of animation and background design elements have been neglected. When I get my mojo back, I will certainly endeavor to throw myself into this thing and make explode with the awesomeness I envisaged for it.
Its been sitting there redundant ever since I handed it in and I figure, what the hey, I put in a whole lotta work, don’t know when I’ll put in more… May as well show it off. BUT ITS NOT FINISHED. REMEMBER THAT.
Also maybe when I’ve cleared some room to work in! Recently upped sticks and my room is still a multi-layered mountain of boxes. I think that might be a big part of the problem, its tough to concentrate when your space is in disarray. I don’t know how people are so hyper-productive working this 9 to 5 (more like 6) slog!! Wake up 6:30am, get home 7pm… How is there time for anything else??
And yes, I will accept advice and tips on that front. Don’t say time machine though.
No pants, avocado on toast and tea, Simpsons on the tele, Triggerfinger during ad breaks and I’m playing in Illustrator. Solid night.
But far far FAR better still: BRIAN SETZER TOMORROW NIGHT!!!! WOOPWOOPWOOP!!! I had completely accepted that seeing Stray Cats back in ‘08 would be the only times I’d ever witness Setzer in action, but someone up there decided to be Captain Awesometacularad!!!!
Llama is just a happy-go-lucky scamp! I brush my teeth vigorously, but with my hair I somehow always end up waiting 'til its embarrassingly long and shaggy before going for a cut. I mention this because I need a haircut now, badly, its outta control. I think there's a even bit of yoghurt in there.
